- Proactive Hygiene Disinfecting – This involves wiping designated high use/touch surfaces with suitable disinfectant or bleach mixture at increased frequencies, for example: floors Desks and Benchtops, Door handles, EFTPOS machines and Cash Registers, Elevator Buttons, Phones, Railings, Kitchens and Bathrooms
- ‘Event’ Driven Disinfecting Cleaning – This occurs once a ‘confirmed’ case is identified. If a ‘confirmed’ event occurs, there are cleaning options to be considered based on the potential exposed area. Where possible, seal off areas where the confirmed case has visited, before carrying out cleaning and disinfection of the contaminated environmental surfaces
